In the topic thread about Henry's American Railroad Tribute Edition rimfire rifle, it was noted that the company had photos of non-US engines on the webpage. I believe our Allan Miller sent them a friendly email pointing it out, along with some suggestions. It seems they took Allan's advice .......

Often one takes different hobbies in the same direction. My interest in firearms has gone backward in time to black powder guns and most of my recent train purchases have been tinplate. I've also all but abandoned my power tools for my woodworking and have been using mostly handtools instead, some of which are of 19th century origin.

Yes, the fine folks at Henry did use the photos I sent to them (the Jupiter to represent an early locomotive and a NS Heritage unit to represent present-day railroading), and they also made a couple of text changes that I recommended. Anthony Imperato and his crew at Henry Repeating Arms are very responsive to their customers...pretty much unlike any other firm I've ever dealt with, be it firearms, trains, or anything else. Their products, all American made, are also superb.

My order for the Railroad Tribute rifle will be placed this week, along with an order for another Henry that I want to get for a friend.
