Well here are a few shots of the Dual Double Track S curve that is the last of the major mainline construction for my layout... Whew! Did not think I had it in me doing all those custom supports.... I've been running trains for hours.

Looks awesome JDaddy! Did you anchor the supports down to the layout? If so, how? How high are they? Thanks for the pics, ideas and info.
The first few pics I was starting to worry about the lower level ( just kidding ) looks great nice layout you have it going great.
Nicely designed and construction of the trestle.
Is there and upper level platform that it connects or does it run to and from the lower level pictured?
Yes The High line and the Low line do connect with a 5 track staged yard....
This is a picture of one of the connecting spurs. The lower level is a inverted dog bone style design with a 7 track staged yard attached. Right now the upper deck and the lower deck do not connect.... but who knows?
Great looking layout. Sweeping curves and long straight a ways with scenery to match. Great job....................Paul
Exciting stuff! Congratulations on being up and running!
Very nice and congratulations
Yes, congratulations.
And keep us posting with any progress.
It's looking terrific.
Someday, Someday, I'll be up and running too. Congratulations There seems to be projects that keep me from all the fun. Well today I had to run to our neighborhood Menard's to pick up more lumber to get my overhang done. I picked up a few cars and trucks. I wanted to pick up the Menard's Hobby shop and it wasn't there. They had one on display. Well Next time. Again Congratulations.
Congratulations! Sit back and take a week or two to get the overall feel and at the same time enjoy your trains. Very nice
Great job, looks like a fun layout.
It's really shaping up! Always enjoy your photos!
PROPS to you J Daddy; and THANKS for the photos!!!
Thanks for the accolades guys! I hope to set up the tri-pod to get some better pictures... sorry for the fussy photos...
I had to rebuild the elevated S curve 3 times to get a bigboy to clear 21in. cars on the curves.
Hosting the Detroit 3 Railers this February so next is lots of wiring!
Looks like those Detroit guys are for a real treat.
Congratulations on driving the Golden Spike! You did a nice job on the trestles and the layout.
Do you have any pictures of the yard area?
Congrats, & yes, thanks for the pics!
Congratulations! Now, in keeping with that time-honored tradition of model railroading, you've finished just in time to start planning on the revisions.
All kidding aside, good job.
I do but they are dated... time to take a few more...
I learned my lesson and painted the elevated structure on the double S curve before assembly... Had to take this one apart in sections and paint it...
Now I need to talk to Andre for some laser cut curved support details.... about 100 will do?
Well done!
Peter
Nice work! My issue as a lifelong member of the brotherhood of crappy basement layouts is that once the trains are up and running, the rest of the work is incremental and takes a backseat to operations!
I hear yah, it sure is fun to sit back and watch the trains.
This is my first multilevel deck layout and my first scratch building an elevated rail line.
I have to say working in O makes you become more innovative in finding more space.
Here are a few more pics of the yard updated...
JDaddy,
Very serious stuff, congrats on being up and running!

It really looks great J Daddy - Congratulations and keep up the good work!
JDaddy,
Excellent work, sir!! Very inspirational and great talent shown in your work skills.
Your layout has given me more than one idea of an avenue to pursue. Thank you!
Fantastic craftsmanship. I'm enjoying your layout progress immensely.

More progress on assembling a double track truss bridge and weathering.
I spray painted the truss bridge with flat black camo paint from ACO. Then used chalks to lightly weather it. I then had to make sure it was a easy lift out for the door way. Here is a quick picture of a mohawk passing through it at speed... sorry for the blurry photo...
