Many of you received an email from OGR this week on behalf of The Madison Hardware Story. Before the email we were hovering around the 200 copy mark of the book in stock. As of tonight we have 60 copies remaining. Thanks OGR for the great marketing tool!

If you want a copy of the book, now is the time to move. No additional printings are planned.

If you've ordered a copy of the book over the weekend, your order will ship on Tuesday Morning. Final Christmas orders need to be in hand by mid day on Wednesday and we will make a final postal run on Wednesday night for the holiday.

Just curious: does your book cover the many repaints and trains assembled from Lionel parts that may or may not have been sold as original factory productions? I personally was always treated well when I stopped in or mail ordered a part, so my question is NOT to disparage the owners, but to ask for an explanation of the rumors surrounding these issues. THANK YOU! :-)

Hey Art,

Yes the book takes a look at that aspect from a few different perspectives including Len Carparelli who painted trains for Madison for many years. I think most folks will be able to draw their own conclusions from the information presented in the book.
