One of the things that makes this hobby a lot richer is sharing it with others. Over the years, the Bellevue and Schenectady RR has taken on a life all its own. It has been celebrated thru all forms of the media. We have been visited by church groups, the Lionel Operating Train Society, the New York Central Historical Society and many others near and far. Its been a gift for me and it is meant to be shared. I encourage you share your hobby with others. Today was the Hudson Berkshire Division of the NMRA. And all forum members are invited to visit the RR, contact me via my email.

Don has created a great layout in a very small basement and he is constantly changing & improving it. As one of the locals, I have been able to watch its evolution since the 1996 LOTS Convention visit. Forum members should take advantage of Don's invitation to visit.  Those to far away to visit should take advantage of checking out OGR magazine's past stories on the layout and OGR videos featuring it.

As many of you know, Don's layout has to be "experienced" not just "seen". It is really a treat for all the senses.

The NMRA members seemed to have a great time Saturday morning. It was interesting to see some hard-core HO scale purists "oohing and aahing" over Don's animations and whimsical scenes!!!

I think 3-rail gained quite a bit of respect from the scale crowd during the event.
