As kinda expected, Soundtraxx has ended production of their Tsunami decoders .... being replaced by their new generation Econami line of decoders.

Good, they had a number of issues, but they were one of the first with good BEMF-linked sound... the hardware was just too old.. lots of issues with false overvoltage, and overcurrent...

I was ready to shed a tear for the ho crowd. They seemed awful found of them a few years back. Sounds like good news to me.
The new unit is better, and it's good to see something new from SoundTraxx... I'm also in large scale and their large scale offerings based on the Tsunami had real issues with typical G scale DCC voltages.
