As far as I know, the most "official" word we have is a somewhat unofficial word-of-mouth indication over in the other 2014 catalog thread in the Tinplate sub-forum. Someone posted that Dave Hikel told him at York to expect a 2014 Tinplate Traditions catalog in a couple of months.
Perhaps Dave or Ted can chime in with more hints if they read this.

Thanks Rocky Mountaineer! I posed the question of a new Tinplate Traditions catalog to MTH over on Facebook and they are unusually unresponsive - which I consider a good sign

I don't believe there is a separate catalog planned for that category of the MTH tinplate line.
There will be a Brochure for the MTH Reproduction of the MARKLIN Tinplate LEIPZIG Station from 1919.... MTH is getting a License from MARKLIN to badge the Station and Box, so this could be the beginning of a larger Tinplate Line..
This quote is from Dave Wilson on the 2014 catalog thread...
"I spoke with Andy Edleman (hope I spelled his name correctly), about the monorail. He mentioned that the Tinplate Traditions catalogue will have it available in 3 different road names. MTH didn’t need to, or wish to, pay Lionel royalties for non-Lionel products, hence the new Tinplate Traditions catalogue. I don’t know when that catalogue will be available, but I got the impression that it will not be that long in coming."

Okay…I stand corrected. Does make some sense, I suppose. I definitely want one of those Marklin stations. There likely will be other items I might like to have. Didn't really find anything in the way of tinplate O I want/need in the current catalog, which was perfectly okay because I sent my dealer a decent list of stuff from the current (regular) O catalog.
I`ve heard two people from MTH mention there will be at least a Brochure for the DETROIT-LELAND Monorail..
My guess is that the retail for the Marklin station will be $1200-1500.

I was told the artwork is with Mike. I posted on the other thread what Dave Hikel told me. He also made the comment about the artwork.
You know there had to be an item or two the last few years that Lionel didn't stamp with approval. Perfect additions for a Tinplate Traditions catalog.
Perhaps we will see a surprise...
I'm with you Chris.

I have a hard time considering that a "catalog".

Hardly qualifies as a "flyer" but still these few items and the Ives "flyer" were more exciting to me than the whole LCT catalog this year.

It's a start, but I have to say I'm disappointed with that station. The roof is litho instead of embossed like original European tinplate, not what I expected.

Agreed. It doesn't quite look like prewar Maerklin.
Bob
The Brochure explains that the Lithographed Roof was from the first production of the MARKLIN Leipzig Station, the Embossed Roof came later...
Yes, I read that.
Most every Maerklin (ae = umlaut ä) accessory I have ever seen, however, has embossed detailing. The appearance of the station in the photograph seems to be lacking the Märklin prewar 'feel' and looks too glossy. Unfortunately, this is not quite my stein of beer for ~ $900.
A bit disappointing.
Bob
If there is demand for it maybe MTH will do a Embossed Roof version later on.. 'JUST THE TICKET' Newsletter has a couple of very nice pictures of Mike Wolf presenting the Station in Germany recently and a picture of the Embossed Roof version of an original.. Of course the Sides are already Embossed.. Also a picture of the DARSTEAD Hornby Sheds printing being inspected..
There is also talk that, later, MTH will be making the, I believe their called, Passenger Platforms and Arched Roof Terminal Halls..
With all due respect to the "nit-pickers" on this thread:
1. The ORIGINAL Marklin Leipzig Station had a lithographed roof.
2. Lithography IS art!
And, most of us are just pleased that we will have a chance to own such a beautiful piece.

Sure to be a very nice piece. Enjoy.
However, some of us would have much prefered to have an embossed roof. Maerklin switched to embossed roofs on the Liepzig's which implies that they thought so, too. When observing pictures of originals, it quickly becomes apparent to some of us that an embossed roof more truly "says" Maerklin. And, for a cool grand, it could have been made that way. IMHO.

We will have to agree to disagree.
As with most things in life: PERSONAL preference always trumps criticism!
PS: I am quite pleased with the wonderful lithography on my original prewar American Flyer #102 station (Excellent-Plus condition).
I have a hard time considering that a "catalog".

What is wrong with a brochure?
