Hi All: I went to run some trains this morning and found no power to the tracks fed by variable input 1. Checked for shorts and did not find any. Reset all the power blocks and powered up again and still no power to that area of the layout. Test all the power inputs and all showed power coming into the TIU. Checked the outputs and variable 1 had no power out all the others did. The red light is on so I know the TIU has power. Sounds like a fuse in the TIU has blown? Am I on the right track or have I missed something? Thanks!

Hey, dbuck: The fuse is a good possibility but before you open it up, you didn't say how you were using variable 1. Are you using it as a variable channel or fixed? If by chance you are using it as a fixed channel, make sure it didn't get changed back to variable by accident.
Thanks mrmacher: I am using all four as variable.
The fuse is a user replaceable part, it's a 20A automotive type blade fuse. You may have a spare in the fusebox of your car, many of them have some spares clipped to the cover.
Sorry about that. All are set to fixed, I have no conventional engines
Did you check the fuse? That would be my first check.
Are you certain that Variable #1 is still set to Fixed mode?
