Sorry for a new post, but nothing I found seems to address this particular question...

I have a variable port from my TIU running to my new SuperStreet.  When the power is turned on to the TIU, the car on the street begins to run immediately without me doing anything else.  But, I would rather start the car via the handheld or my MTH app on my phone when I'm ready for it.

Is this possible?

If my memory is correct, Variable Output channels don't necessarily start with "0" volts. The first thing I would check would be the track voltage when you first turn things on. My guess is you're going to see 5-7V; maybe enough to move your car.

Another thing to check. You CAN set Variable Channels to Fixed. I would double check the setup of the channel you are using.

Double check that you are actually on the variable output!  I have had similar things happen only to find out I simply wired it wrong.  Other than that go through the remote as mentioned above.  Verify the variable output was inadvertently changed to fixed and also set the starting volts to whatever you want.
