TMCC address range

I recently repaired a Lionel union pacific number 3593 TMCC engine. I have also upgraded to the latest TIU and Wi-Fi. My old TIU addressed this engine as number 93. Worked fine. The new TIU + MTH app I could not get it to work. When I changed the number to 35, lo and behold all is right. Is 93 too big?

Nope. 93 is fine. TIU can only address TMCC locomotives with whatever address you tell it to between 1 an 99.
