I wanted to keep myself occupied during my daughters softball practice this evening, so I started to make this small station stop.  It's not modeled after anything prototypical other than what is in my head as a glass enclosure where people wait for a train.

I did not quite get it all painted before practice ended.  So I will continue the project next practice.  I already see a modification I need to make as the people are taller than the opening.

The frame is made with wooden matches.  I scrapped off the phosphorus and glued them together with CA glue and accelerator.  I was going to print my logos and signs on the clear slide paper and use that as my glass.

More to come...

Very nice job, beware of that Smokey bear dud, he may come around and smack it with a shovel. the guy has a thing for matches.

When we wear kids we used to build all types of buildings to go along our matchbox cars. We would build the houses, garages, stores , what ever else our little minds would think of.  But we would leave the heads of the wooden match attached for future use.  when we would have  major town Fires.

This happened 40 years ago when kids wear kids.  "No kids wear heart or burned"

During this Flash back of When I was a under age kid not knowing any better.

We always did this outside.
