Holy run-on sentence, Batman.
You’ll probably get more help and advice if you use some basic punctuation.
I would suggest O48 since it does open you up to run some larger engines and all my MTH Premier Passenger cars can make the curve with no issues. However, if you want O48 your going to need at least a 5 foot width to make the curve for an outer loop. I currently I have an O48 outer loop, O36 inner loop, an O31 elevated subway loop and a few sidings here and there on my layout.
Good luck!

Any way to add a O Steel Arch Bridge to a O48 / O60 Layout the bridge is compatible with fast track
40-1103
- Underbridge Clearance: 5 3/4”
- Unit Measures:30” x 5 1/8” x 14
Hi Flemming,
Well, the HobbySpeed plan doesn't quite fit, so I have attached a corrected version. it's the inner loop to the 45° cross. Put a 5" at the top and 2 - 1.75" just before the cross.
The answer to your question about the bridge is YES … you make the layout an over/under. Use MTH trestle sets and the MTH bridge. Remove the 45° cross and replace it with 2 - 10" straights. The grades are 4%, so, you won't use all of the trestle set pieces.
track plan and 3D attached.
Forum member JHainer operated a LionMaster Challenger on O36, so, it will be ok on O48/O60.

my existing 8 X 13 Layout has to come down because the owner wants to sell our house in the spring so i will have to set up a new layout after mom and I find a place to live in the spring will this will the layout still be be using O-48/0-60 curve so i can run my 6-28339 O Santa Fe Warbonnet Legacy AC6000 #9876 since it derails on O-36 curve

In this picture is the wiring of the circuit board how would it get set up on the new layout once i start to build it. It says Plug the wire into the control board as shown in figure 2. Finish mounting the pier to the bridge as shown in figure 1. Route the power supply wires from the control board through the wire notch at the base of the pier

That is for the aviation warning light ( blinking light) on the bridge only. It has nothing to do with train operation. That would connect to AC accessory power.
Also, the center bridge pier would be not used.
I also want to clarify that I meant your steamer should operate ok on O48/O60 compared to JHainer's experience with his LionMaster Challenger.
