on my layout my track is off 1/2. should i just cut a track to fit, or is there anything else i can do, forgot to say from straight to curve, thanks for any help.

You didn't mention what kind of track. Brand? You could cut it. Possibly get a filler piece/s. We need to know more.

Are you 1/2 inch short? If so remove the 10 in strait before the curve and custom cut a 10 1/2 inch piece from a 30 inch section.If to long just cut to fit.

Or if long and you don't have / want to buy a 30 inch piece use a 5-inch piece and cut a 10 inch to fit the remainder.
Thank you TRAIN NUT, I fixed the problem.
There is so much play with tubular track that the 1/2 inch is no problem at all. Simply join the tracks together and be done with it.
