The 9-1-1 was posed for 2 hours in the Lurgan Branch bridge and created some wonderful photo opportunities.
I thought y'all might enjoy a few pics from today's event.

Thanks for sharing, wish I could have been there.

Me too!

Recently I attended a July 4th parade. A lot of fire equipment. I remember from years ago American LaFrance, who specialize in fire equipment. I saw none. Apparently no longer doing business.
Very nice especially the photo with the train crossing the river

Looks like they put on a good display of equipment there. Would have been fun to attend. My grandson loves fire equipment, as do many young folks.
Sad news about American LaFrance. All the fire trucks around here when I was a kid were made by them. Wonder what happened.
Also, modern fire trucks in 1:43/1:48/1:50 scale for the layout are hard to find at reasonable prices ($20-$30 range) actually any price that I have seen so far. I have really only found one and I think it was $20-$25. There are some older ones like late 1920's or so to early 1940's vintage, but the modern ones seem to be rare.
My photos from yesterdays event in Harrisburg, NS #911 and its short train of EMP stacks were posed on the Lurgan line x-Reading bridge for over 2 hours. A real P.R. coup for NS, and the attendance reflected it.
This was a great day for both of my chief hobbies!
