I am in the process of building a 35 by 27 layout with 3 mains with 2.3% grades and 3 yards.   I am thinking I would have 3 power districts for the mains and thus the need for 9 transformer terminations to address 9 tracks.   I also have 3 yards and need power for lights, accessories and switch/signal.   So I am estimating that I need at least 12 terminations and could possibly use toggle switches to power the yards off one of the mains when they are in operation.   So two questions.

I have 3 of the ZWs with 180 bricks.   I understand I can only address 9  outputs with the brick approach.    I am thinking of then also adding a ZW-L.   Can I mix the two ZW types with TMCC and Legacy and DCS and say have track 1 be a brick on a 400 and then tracks 2-9 using the bricks on two ZWs and then add the zw-L and have that be track 10-13?   Please LMK if that would work in regard to TMCC and legacy addressing as well as MTH DCS when I add it.

Second question is what toggle switch rating do I need for the yard power switch to activate and deactivate a yard.   I know its 20 volts but what amp rating would I also need.   Any sources u know are great would also be appreciated as well as comments on my overall logic given I own the bricks, 400, and all the ZWs except the ZW-L.   Also any input on best price for a ZW-L at york or online would be appreciated.

Thanks much,

GREG in Wisconsin.
