tree armatures from Christmas Palm

While at my daughter's home in Grand Cayman, I spotted some fallen flower stalks from her Christmas Palm. The red berries had dropped off and the bare stalks seemed very flexible and sturdy. I brought some home to try for tree armatures. Results in a a different (for my layout) appearing tree. They could also be useful to cover thinly with polyfiber and flock.
