My girlfriend got about 2 dozen of these at work. They were part of displays that had to be broken down & these were going to be thrown out. I think there a great start to making some trees or cutting some of them down to look like tree stumps.

Thanks for posting Spence. These are really nice specimens. You have got a really great girlfriend. She must really take an interest in your trains.
Spence, those are great and no end as to what you can use them for, fallen trees covered with weeds and moss, a fall across a stream, a dead tree, etc. This should be a fun project and a super find for you and your girlfriend. It's fantastic that she keeps an eye open for you.

Those are nice. First thing that came to my mind was a scorched hillside with defoliated tree trunks.

TexSpecial. She is very supportive of my hobby and is constantly on the lookout for scenery items at work or when she goes to Michaels, etc.
Originally she helped me build the bench work for the layout.
SPENCE,
Nice find. They look like the trees that are found here in the Susquehanna River after a few days o heavy rain.
Spence, anyway to identify the vendor?
