I thought I would share a few photos from our operating session last night in Greenville, PA. Be sure to check out the photos of the scratch built Tome Coal facility, it was scratchbuilt by one of the guys from our group. This coal faciltiy has already appeared on the forum but I figured I would add a couple more pictures of this beautiful workmanship, outstanding job Sam!!! Did anyone notice the "big" guy in some of the photos?? Yes, that is none other that Mr. Lionel himself, Mike Reagan!! Of course our good friend Dave from Mercer Junction was there as well. We had a wonderful evening running trains and shootin the bull. We had about a dozen guys show up to run trains! A big thanks to the group from Greenville, PA for there hospitality!!

Pete,

I did not get anymore photos of the passenger station, sorry. I do not know many details of the layout as I am not a regular at the operating sessions. I do know this, the layout is conventional control with a central control panel. Some of the hard to reach switches are remote control while I would say the bulk of them are hand thrown, which lends itself to operating the layout with a "hands on approach". There is a nice double ended yard facility which can be seen in some of the photos. I believe the track and switches to be Gargraves. Thats about all I know about the layout. Thanks for the post!!

Maybe if you see this post you can add some info if you have it about the Greenville layout.

Jeff
