I have a TIU that is currently not on a layout that I would like to upgrade to 5.0. I watched a video that indicated that the two audio jacks on the "top" of the TIU had to be jumped. The unit also has to be powered when connecting the RS233 cable. Will applying power to Fixed Voltage In1 from a ZW do the trick? How much voltage is required?

Yes, use 14 volts or so. The voltage isn't critical as long as it's above 12 volts.
