I have an old tmcc Pennsylvania GP9 with tmcc and the flashing strobe light.
If I had timko fab up a motor mount to use a can motor...could I use the tmcc electronics to power the motor if I put a rectifier chip on each leg of the power supply to the motor?
If so...has anybody done this and could you post a wiring diagram?

While I believe there is a possibility for that to work, replacing the electronics with new ERR stuff would be better.
Discussed a while ago in this thread.

I’d have to go with Sid on this one, ....why not go ERR since you’re going can motor and pick up the added benefit of cruise,.....double win,....and the results much more satisfying,....
