Using MTH Trestles with O Gauge Tubular Track | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I want to use elevated trestles with Lionel O Gauge Tubular track. For MTH, they have two types of elevated trestles (Elevated Subway Trestle Set and Elevated Trestle System). Each one of these shows two model numbers, one for RealTrax and Tubular (40-1047 and 40-1034) and one for Fastrack (40-1157 and 40-1134).

Are the RealTrax/Tubular actually different than the Fastrack? Has anyone used the RealTrax version with Tubular? Can the Fastrack version be used in any way with Tubular?

Any suggestions?

I use the trestles with tubular track. Currently, nothing is fasten down. I can't decide if I want to cut some wood and place it under the track and mounted to the trestles. I will probably just zip tie it.

Interesting. Did you fabricate the blocks of wood? Or are they a standard size one can purchase?
