I have purchased from Steve and Liz online 4 times I think .  I got great prices and service on a couple cars I wanted.  A couple months ago, I bought a new MTH Bessemer & Lake Erie F7 A unit.  I would have liked to have gotten the B unit then, but held off.  I now have the B on order from the payment of Connie's GN cars.  While B&LE is not my favorite road, it along with the Buffalo & Pittsburgh, are a mile from my home.  I remember the B&LE running an F7 AB set on the winding WA branch well into the 1990's.

I would love to visit Steve and Liz someday in their new facility.  I have too many trips on my list that I haven't had time to make!  LOL

All this to say Thank You to Steve and Liz and everyone at Mr. Muffins!!!

When you come this way PLAN ON seeing us as well.  One day, when you're up and running, I'm coming that way.

It's a good idea, John.  I need to come up with some non-rail attractions in Indiana that will interest Kim.  She is quite supportive of my hobby and willing to visit layouts, but the bulk of the trip needs to be other attractions that don't involve much walking.

John, that's really cool that your wife shares your love of trains to the extent that you are giving them to her as gifts. I mean, my wife likes my hobby, but not to the level that she want's her own trains. You are one lucky guy, and when you give that engine to her, remind her how special she is.

It's funny that neither of us knew that we liked trains until our honeymoon.  We didn't have a lot back in those days.  We were in "little" Nashville, INDIANA and we came across a HO scale Atlantic Coast Line engine (We still have it.).  She said: "That's really cool!  My brother had trains when we were young."

The rest as they say is history.

A lot of guys envy me, but there is a down side.  I'm holding her back at train shows which means no one is riding shotgun on me.

It is ironic that when one or the other of us say something to the other about not going crazy, the one that opened their mouth goes crazy and buys something expensive.

I'm probably the only guy that had a full-female crew one night.  When it was going on, I just laughed thinking this is a first.  The ladies here love running the layout.

There is a tremendous amount of things to see and do here.  Indianapolis is the 14th largest city in the U.S.  We have more museums, historical sites, sporting venues and numerous attractions, and of course the Indy 500.  :-)  I grew up behind the 3rd turn.  I can't tell you how many times as kids we snuck in.
