I picked up a few Lionel commemorative items in a batch of stuff and I'm not sure what they are worth, since I don't collect that sort of thing. I'm going to resell them; I had to buy the whole lot to get some things that I wanted. So, can anybody give me some guidance on what to expect for this stuff? All appear to be new and never run in the original boxes. Some of the boxes are sun faded, but the cars are fine. Here's a list, with my best guesses what they might be worth. I'm wondering if they have any collectible value.

-- 90th Anniversary Madison Hardware piggyback car with 2 trailers (I'm guessing maybe 40-45 bucks?)

-- Carail TOFC (Same as above?)

CCII 726 Berkshire boxcar ($25?)

CCII F3 boxcar ($25?)

Lionel.Com boxcar (($20?)

Miniature Railroad boxcar ($15-20?)

You are probably not terribly far off for most.

I think I paid something like $80 for the Madison Piggyback flatcar, but it was the late 90's  - very different times.  It's all dependent on if someone "needs" one.  I haven't priced one lately, but I'd suspect even if you can't get $45-$50, you should hopefully be able to get $25-$30.  (all IMO)

I'm not familiar with that particular Carail piece, but they used to be somewhat desirable.  On a similar note though, I seem to recall getting a different Carail piece in a blow out deal years later for something around $20-$25.

The CC cars are actually CCI, not CCII.  If you can find someone who actually wants them, $20 might be fair, but some dealers who are getting tired of sitting on them may go lower.

The Miniature Railroad and Village is part of a series for the Carnegie Science Museum, there may be interest there if someone interested in that series is missing that particular car.

You should search eBay for the particular item #s and view by completed (sold, not just ended) auctions to get an overall feel.

Good Luck.
