do you turn your cans upside down and spray to empty and clean the nozzle as recommended by the directions on the back of the can???

I do not do this, because I don't want to waste paint and I have never had any trouble with clogged tubes or nozzles.

I also keep on hand extra nozzles saved from previous paint jobs just in case.

I have purchased new cans that sometines don't work and swapped out the nozzle with a saved one and it works fine.

Popi, I do not clear the nozzles either and any that still have a nice spray pattern get saved when the can is empty.

This may be a good choice for Terracotta. If doing something that is not right next to a original piece, I think it gives the right flavor. It's Rust-Oleum Satin Cinnamon. Being satin, it will require a couple of coats of clear which I hate doing, but it turned out well.
