Here is a video of my "improved" Wolverine Automatic Coal Loader.  I made an insert in the loading bin so that more marbles could be loaded and I also changed to black marbles.  Nine marbles are enough to fill up my Hafner gondola.

I just finished purchasing this crane from the U.K, a clockwork crane mounted on a barge, that looks like an interesting toy that moves vertically and horizontally. I have no idea who made it. It's coming from across the big pond. Ill post a video of it when it gets here..You can see the water line at the bottom along with a small boat tied alongside it.

On the surface, that looks to me to be a match for Marx, and, again, I found it ( like several others) under "vintage tin toys" rather than trains on Ebay. Ill look for any markings to see what it is. As a sidebar, this is how I found the Marx Lumar sand\coal loader that fits into both a G gauge and O gauge tinplate setting, that I am pondering selling as it does not fit in the main layout anymore,, and is too big for the clockwork. It's funny how the usefulness of this or that seems to change ( at least in my experience ) as a layout evolves. Lately my philosophy has changed where if I can't use it off it goes..it could be I just have too much.
