This is it! You are doing it, now!

IMHO, the best possible Virtual Model Railroading is here, on the OGR On-Line Forum, coupled with digital and paper subscriptions to the OGR Magazine, and  some OGR model railroad DVDs.

With the above and your own model railroad in the comfort of your home, you are all set, and can remain safe and ride out the caronavirus storm.

But, if you have no model railroad to build or run, or have no trains of your own, don't despair. You have this wonderful Forum, where you can see photos and videos of the trains and layouts of others; hear the whistles, horns, bells and other train sounds of others; read the posts and comments of your fellow hobbyists (some of whom may become lifelong friends); and share your own thoughts about this hobby we love.

Aren't we blessed during these challenging times to have the OGR Forum, the greatest Virtual Model Railroad in the World, maybe the Universe. Arnold

Let's say you want to go to a train show, but there are no train shows because of the caronavirus.

Wrong! There may be no customary train shows, but what about virtual train shows.

You can go to a Virtual Train Show, right here, on this Forum, your Virtual Model Railroad Center.

How can you do that?

By visiting the web sites of our Forum Sponsors, and buying whatever new and/or used trains you want.

Isn't that fantastic?

Here is another fantastic idea.  We could have a new sub-Forum called Virtual Model Railroad Repair Shops. There, hobby shops that do repairs or Forum members who are train doctors can have web sites and/or supply their contact information so we can arrange to get our trains fixed for reasonable compensation. Since my talents are not in the fixing of trains sphere, I would love to see that sub-Forum. Maybe it is not a sub-Forum, but rather these train doctors could be added to the Forum Sponsor list.

I've been virtual model railroading ever since we first got Internet in about 1996.  This Forum is the best!!

I feel the same way, Mark, ever since Alan Arnold introduced me to this Forum and I joined it in November 2017.

Hope you and your family, Mark. are healthy and well.  As Mr. Spock from Star Trek would say, Live Long and Prosper. LOL, Arnold
