My Son and I watched the virtual York show and made a purchase on one of TrainWorlds items on special.  A Lionel 3 pack of Reading 2 Bay Hoppers.  They arrived today, earlier than expected.  You have to guess which 3.

Have Fun.

Good try John.  But those are not Reading.  They were part of a Lionel 6 pack set my son purchased at a train show this fall in Brick NJ at the Elks.  There were 5 diecast hopper cars and a caboose.

The three Lionel Reading cars are in order after the tender; 1, 11, & 12.  They were 1, 2, & 3 but the couplers kept popping open.  Those other cars in the middle are heavy diecast Lionel and K-Line cars.

Really nice hoppers and train, enjoy!

Since I don't use the opening feature on couplers, my quick solution for problematic couplers is to glue them shut and done. If you think you may need coupler operation in the future you can always use small zip ties instead on some coupler styles to keep them from opening.
