How about a Vision Line Baldwin 60,000? Or, better yet, a Vision Line 611, with half the sales going towards the Fire Up 611! program?

I might be mistaken, but it seem like full fledged "Vision Line" engines are a thing of the past. Most high end locomotives and diesel engines now being released by Lionel are Legacy with possible Vision Line features.......and even the features seem to be limited.

It would be nice to have a "Vision Line' that actually smoked.

I'll second Baldwin 60000

Back in March at Lionel said a Vision Line Big Boy is scheduled to be available in the spring of 2014. They also said that it would not be in a catalog this year, I believe that we hear more about it at the Oct. York meet.
I have all the Vision steamers except, now, the delicate little 2-10-10-2 (away from repairs, seemingly forever). I'll buy more if Lionel makes them. But I think the Legacy level of detail and performance is a better price-point and hope they stick to that.
There are very few locos or trains on my list of must haves that I still don't have, so there are few potential Vision locos and trains I would buy if Lionel offered them: for example I have a JLC big Boy, so the rumored Vision Big Boy just would not appeal enough.
But among the very few Vision locos I would buy are:
Vision Dreyfus Hudson - this can't be very difficult to make for the company that made the Vision Hudson.
Vision ATSF Super Chief - I dream of a full Super Chief Vision set - a complete A-B-B-A F-3 set, each unit with motors, a speaker(s), full sound and smoke, and twelve, count 'em, twelve, 18" aluminum cars with good details and detail and the diner with station sounds and whatever. I realize that this would cost a lot ($5K - $6K for the set?) so I know it's not going to happen. But I dream about it, nonetheless, and if it does happen - I will be first in line.
And that is about it for future Vision purchases I'd make.
Didn't Golden Gate Depot already produce the AT&SF Super Chief in 21" scale cars?
The GGD SC cars are scheduled to be out by the end of this year. I think Scott said in his last email that they were starting production soon, or just began production. 10 car set for the 1951-1953 Super Chief.
Like Keith, I would love to see this set, but I am not optimistic that it will be done in O-Gauge.
Forgive my ignorance, but which Train of Tomorrow are you speaking of? Several got that title.
But I'd love to see an AD60 Beyer Garratt in O. If one can run on O36, I'll get a whole pack of them!
