Saw the link below today. I thought the 1189 was an F7A? Lionel seems to be identifying this as an FT. Are they saying the same thing in a different way or is this a mistake by Lionel?
It's a starter trainset locomotive and Lionel used an FT, which wouldn't be used a a single unit in a passenger train (no room for a steam generator) anyway.
The Wabash never owned FT's either. Reality is not always reflected it starter trainsets.
