Wabash experts: White or aluminum color? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

GG1 4877OGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBERDIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

I've been researching Wabash colors and while Banner Blue is pretty well documented, what is the color running up the nose and in the side bands? I've seen photos of it in white and in aluminum. Which is correct? Could both be correct? I of course demure to those of you who know such matters at a much higher level than I could ever hope to.

A search is required. Somebody did the definitive thread. Not caring for the Wabash paint scheme, I did not pay too much attention, but these guys really got into it in depth.
