Several Year's ago when Weaver Models offered the Pullman Troop Sleeper's, I purchased several car's because I owned a Real Troop Sleeper at one time, I really don't Run them as much, and I keep them in there original Boxes, I was running them the other day and noticed the floor on the Kitchen Car was bowed slightly, after further examination, I found that the diecast metal frame had cracked on one end, it's been boxed up for about a year now, but the others were boxed up too, but there OK, can't explain how this happened, didn't know if anyone else has experienced this or not, just wanted to let someone know, since Weaver Models are out of business, probably going to Haft too make a New Floor for my Troop Kitchen Car, will post some pics soon.

A SEARCH will give you at least two times this subject has been extensively discussed along with a 3rd party thinking about offering new floors.  At the bottom of this page, click on SEARCH in the blue band.  Any related subject ought to do - ATLAS floors, Weaver Troop Sleeper problems, Weaver Troop Floors, etc.  John in Lansing, ILL
