To save room on the 42 curve circle of track around the wedding cake, I'll be running just the Pullman and the Obs of the Blue & Silver set. Also to save room, I won't use my MTH Ives 1134 loco and tender, but looking into someone's suggestion of the MTH 318E. What color might one suggest to go nicely with the B&S cars??

Along with the trains and the small cake with flowers around its base, I'll have an Ives 113 litho Station, a Lionel 48W whistle station, and a vintage Barclay bride and groom standing at the railing at the back of the Observation car.

Go original. 1835 originally pulled Blue and Silver cars. Same engine as 385 except for some black trim. sand dome etc.

The track takes up the space. What extra space would the extra cars take.

The two passenger cars are 13-1/8" each, and with the 385E tender and loco being 25-1/4" long- its too long, almost using 1/2 the track circle. The 385E looks terrific and I'll probably get it eventually, but not best for this application. The 318E (in dark grey) is 13-1/8", so I'm looking to go with that. Seeing an electric instead of a steam locomotive and tender will be pretty cool.
