A Weekend Photo Fun Project for all Your Photos • A photo idea album from Michigan 📸

All the major digital photo labs have projects for your photos. This is an example of a calendar. I ordered nine calendars at $9.45 each.

1 On wall 2020

This shows the calendar hanging in our kitchen. The size is 14 1/2 inches by 22 1/2 inches. The image area on the top is 14 1/2 inches 11 1/4 inches.

2 Cover 2020

This is the cover and pages are bond together with a metal spiral binder.

3 March 2020

March was shot in the train room and a local train museum. “The Lost Train Museum”

4 July 2020

Summer Fun, hanging out in the train room and at the Westacres Beach.

5 October 2020

Fall fun at Michigan Central Depot, train room, and a Fall Festival.

6 November 2020

Thanksgiving at Grandma & Grandpa’s house.

7 December2020

Running wooden & electric trains.

I designed each image page using Adobe Photoshop and the digital lab provides the calendar.  The lab prefers that each finished imaged be sent as a PDF File to get the best results on their digital press. They also have a large collection of free clipart and they have several grades of paper. I use 110# paper with an eggshell finish.

It’s not to late to do your Model Railroad 2020 Calendar, just place one photo per page and have some “Photo Fun”.

Thanks for taking a look & have a great weekend: Gary

Very warm, (still January, Western Pennsylvania).  Was thinking about the bike, and the Montour (Railroad) Trail.   (Soon).

Mike,

I had the same thought. I do a lot of biking on the Montour and the Panhandle trails and with it being so warm today, this might be a good day to go. BTW I recall the original railroad bridge from this site from when I was a kid. t made for a pretty weird and kinda dangerous intersection. It's much better now.

Here are two new ones...

First, switching Goodman's Feed Mill at Port Royal

And here is my "Man Cave" where my train visitors and myself hang out. Nice and cozy. Never thought to post a picture of this until yesterday.

Is that train wallpaper?

Yes it is. You have good eyes! Long since discontinued. Wish I could get more. Stumbled upon it quite by accident years ago. I'll try to post a close up this weekend or next week.

Also, tell more about the PR logo in the prominent position.

The PRR keystone on the mantle is made of stained glass. It was a gift given to me many years ago. Unfortunately, I don't know anything more about it than that.

And the color you picked for weathering your track is perfect. I hope to duplicate it some day. Thanks for sharing your amazing layout with us.

Neal - Every week I check the photo albums with the hopes of seeing more pictures of your layout. I'm absolutely blown away by your scenery. And the color you picked for weathering your track is perfect! I hope I can duplicate the same color on my own layout. Thank you for sharing with us.
