This would be a great scene to model
A 2018 Christmas Layout memory.
No Summer scenes last year so sticking with Halloween for now.

Canadian National SD75I diesel-electric locomotive CN 5790 pulling the Westbound local freight train long hood forward.
Do you notice what is wrong with the colors on CN 5790?

Lew, he must be a New Haven fan...
I got out late today with what I needed to do before my aunt was going to show up. I was going to place my order for the 2019 V2 Lionel catalog at my LTS and there was a sale today. I sort of missed out on that but that's okay, got to chat for a bit while the place was bustling with customers.
One of the delights in my eyes was the customer at the counter. A mother was getting an engine(as well as other things) for her son. When leaving she leaned down to him and said, "we got it". I imagine that this was something they had been waiting for and was as much a delight to them as it was me overhearing.
Besides me picking up my PRR N5 caboose, I managed to get a few pictures of the CSX line that runs through Ewing hauling some tank cars. I was hoping to get a great picture of them over the bridge but couldn't get my phone fast enough.
In the first picture you can see a partial reflection of my car on the window.
Little B6 action today with the new caboose I picked up yesterday. I believe I put it on backwards, but that's alright, Santa don't mind. Its always good to stretch out on the rug and sit watching a train slowly chuffing away(I was doing 72MPH according to the remote). I really did enjoy hitting around 40MPH, but that was too slow for filming the whole train(even though its short).

Brian, another Hot Summer Night, I see. I can almost see heat lightning flashing in the distance.
