Not sure how you did it but it looks really cool! 

Christ, it's easy. Long exposure, fishing line pulling the car very slowly and about twenty tries to get the right exposure. Finished! Glad you liked it. Don

Scale Rail, I admire how committed you stayed, remaining consistent with your artistic expression, interpretation, and execution throughout that entire scene. You kept your focus and made everything you did result in how you, apparently, envisioned the project would manifest. Congratulations on your total success with it, top to bottom., side to side.

Stuck in the 70s at the LCCA show in Lombard Illinois. Bought an IC hopper I had when I was a kid,Charlie's Angels Mustang II,record shop building and the Sanford and Son truck. All great mid 70s nostalgia fun.

Frank I really like the guy sitting outside the trailer with his dog.  

Patrick it's not everyday one sees a trolley coming out of a tunnel through a mountain.  That must be an intercity trolley line.

Bryan, nice ball field.  I like re-purposing the yard lights so the kids can play at night

LCCA convention modular layout. The guys put a lot of work into setting up this huge layout and it paid off!! My boys couldn’t get enough of pressing all the buttons and running the trains.

Thank you for the kind words Frank. Before I build any part of my layout, I always figure out a reason for it's existence. The ghost town was there because farther down the canyon there are four copper mines. The crews needed a place to live and play. Three of the mines ran out so the town died. Only the old hotel is still barely hanging on. Tourist are the only visitors and few stay over night. The food at the hotel is bad and the rooms even worst. I got a lot of help from Randy at Down Town Deco. Called him and asked if he ever had broken pieces of his buildings. Did he. His buildings are made of Hydrocal and very strong unless you drop one. I bought two large boxes of broken parts. He even made some old cracked sidewalks for me. He now sells them.

The main line above the town is the Milwaukee Road, the lower line feeds to the mines and is an electric short line that in turn feeds to the Milwaukee. I love making up stories for my layout, then build to those stories. Don

Fabulous, Scale Rail. We can see you are having a good time of it. Imagination rules!!! That is why it all makes sense, and it does so with a very nice touch of realism. Rock on!

The remote controlled magnetic crane was a blast to operate. I should have thanked the people that took the trouble to set up the layout at the show,my bad.

The Casey Jones Chapter TCA continued work on our new light weight traveling show layout this past weekend. Here are a few pictures.

This weekend we competed a test fitting of the track plan, finalized the positioning of accessories, built a second level to elevate the inside track loop, and the work session ended with a test run on the outside loop.
