Hi Peter
I have an on going thread in the Layout Design category, under "CPR Mountian Division", where I have somewhat kept an updated report on my doings or lack there of on my layout. I have been focused on detailing my locos and rolling stock to more accurately represent the late steam era in Western Canada.
I can post a few more pics here as well once my phone charges up and I manage to get some sleep lol
Thank you for your kind comments and likes

This a project I have been working on over the summer in stops and starts. It is an old Walther's kit that I have painted and repainted a 2 or 3 times over the last 20+ years or so. I couldn't get the paint off easily without destroying it....so, I had the idea of making it a failed business that had become derelict/run down.
The next step will be an alcohol/India ink wash.
The glue is still wet on this 1st picture.....
I wanted to convey the effect of a "roof that has been unattended”.

Perfect look! When I was in college I bought my first car from a dealer whose building looked a lot like that! The car fit right in! LOL

Just a suggestion: If you're gonna do a fantasy Warbonnet, you should go with silver handrails on the sides and all yellow on the front and rear. It will look much better and be more accurate
Pete, that was good idea and the building came out great. Good job. ALBERTSTRAINS, my favorite two roads. Did a nice job on the engines......................Paul
The old Weaver Southern Pacific - Pacific Fruit Express 57' Mechanical Refrigerator car on the right and the new Lionel LionScale SPFE-PFE 57' Mechanical Reefer on the left. The Lionel SFPE cars have letters and numbers that look more like the real ones. I have to carefully remove just the black lettering on the Weaver cars and put on new MicroScale reporting marks and road numbers.

Albert you've done a fantastic job on your locos.
Ok finally got back to the trains after some time. Work and starting up my own shop sadly took all my. But it also helps with more train money which is always good. Weather was to hot on Labor Day to do forging so clean the shop and moved in the last section I made for the layout.
