Keith, I wish you the best of luck in your upcoming surgery, may God Bless you and watch over you. I also wish you a very speedy recovery and hope that your health gets better with each passing day.
Prayers coming your way Keith for a speedy recovery.
Keith update: Released from the hospital today, home recovering.
Me update: Also released from the hospital today, home recovering. In my case, it was only overnight for a cardiac stress test, just in case (had a sore diaphragm from some food poisoning-related ralphing earlier in the week, but the medicos wanted to be sure owing to my ticker being roto-rooted some years earlier). Anyhoo, the MMM ticker is hitting on all eight cylinders, bloodwork fine and all that there!

Excellent news, minus the food poisoning...that's a heck of a way to get a clean bill of health!
Keith,
It's Good News! to hear that you're home so soon. I know that you will not be one of those who seeks to break every rule........Ouch!!! Drop in and pull up a chair when you can.
As for Mitch?? He says, "It is food poisoning". I'd rather think that it was the forth hot dog & the third soda.

More like no more rare $3 steaks for me! From now on, medium well! ;-)
(local grocery chain sells 'shank steaks' for $2-3 a pop. Quite good, if a tad tough.)

Interestingly enough, one of the paramedics taking me to hospital was at the Children's Train on Saturday with his daughter and remembered me running trains for the kids! Same thing about one of the nurses at the hospital.
One nice thing about living in a smallish town...
