I got a hankerin' for a couple of 1/43 Divco Milk Delivery trucks. I was looking for Sealtest and Borden's. I managed to find a Borden's (plus two others) from another member here.. Then I bought one from Pat's trains and a couple more on eBay. So if anyone knows of, or has a Sealtest Divco for sale, I am interested.
Anyway, the wife was away today so I got a chance to play around on the computer and search for stuff. Can't do much else. I had hip replacement surgery on Valentine's day and I am still recovering from it. That brings my total replacement parts up to six. Both corneas, both knees and both hips.
Soon enough, I will get back into O Gauge, venture downstairs to the layout and hear the mighty sound of steam once again.

Bob, you gotta be close to the Six Million Dollar Man with all those new parts.
Praying for your quick recovery.
Chris S.
Hope you get back downstairs soon.

Thanks guys. Stairs are tough just now. And, yeah, the parts and hospital stays are probably close to a million, but that's not what they're paid. But, I am happy that I can get around with WAY less pain than a couple of weeks ago. What I am REALLY looking forward to is some modifications to the layout I have been planning for awhile.
I hear there is an Abbott's out there, anyone no where, I could not find one.
American Heritage Models has a couple undecorated DIVCO trucks, one all white and one white with black fenders, in 1:43 scale. These are possibilities for brands that aren't yet covered by issued models. Just get or make the appropriate decals, and voila! I have seen them at Diecast Direct.
Bob,
Your rebuild is a lot like the Big Boy! You will be back on track soon. I wish you a quick recovery.
Wow Bob! I'm glad you are not having the pain you have and hope you get strong and agile enough to get back to the layout very soon!
Not Divco, but if you're just looking in general, here's a nice one ….

Be CAREFUL on those stairs! Had my partial hip replacement in Feb. 2016, due to femure fracture (OUCH!). I go down sidestepping while holding handrail and posts, with BOTH hands. I can go up in regular manner with one hand on rail, although sometimes I hold both the handrail and the posts. You cannot be too careful! Follow through with your physical therapy!
Art, okay, I got a story too. Sept. 1970, I crashed a 68 Corvette into a hundred year old oak tree. The tree won. My right femur was fractured so bad, the second set of docs (at Cleveland Clinic) performed an absolute miracle surgery with my leg. But I spent the next nine months in a body cast. When the cast came off, I was sent home with no physical therapy and a set of wooden crutches, and no instructions on how to use them. So, the first time I tried to go down stairs, I set my good leg down first, but forgot the crutches. So, I went arse over head until I hit bottom. Learned quickly how NOT to use crutches going down stairs. The Docs did such a good job fixing my leg, no damage was done, but it did hurt like hell on the way down and at the bottom of the stairs.
Yeah, I've learned much since those days when I used to be bullet proof. I take things real easy, and if it doesn't feel right, I don't do it.
Bob:
On page 59 of Run 304 of O Gauge Railroading magazine, Diecast Direct is advertising a Sealtest Dairy Delivery Van. I am not sure if these were also made by Divco. I own one American Heritage Divco model and it is considerably shorter than the delivery van pictured.

John, Diecast Direct was the first place I went looking. They don't have any Sealtest listed.
Bob:
American Heritage Models made some very nice Divco's. They made a Sealtest (AHM43-020), but it is now retired and hard to find.
I wanted their Dugan's Divco, and it took over two years to find one, once it had been retired.
Good luck!
John
Most of their 1/43 offerings in Divco are listed as retired. I came to the party too late.
