So...I'm guessing from the overwhelming response that every one in California pretty much fixes their own trains, right?
Jim Osborne. San Diego
Thank you, Marty!
You can also call Roland Frandsen – (619) 449-9503. Pretty sure he only works on pre and post war.
Thank you, Oldcarsrule!
Hi John,
Have a suggestion for you: On June 8th,. grab $5 for admission, a train or two for repair, lunch money, and come to our T.T.O.S. Southwestern Division Open House Meet. Our President, Larry Pearson, (and sometimes his trained assistant) are there offering free repair service for pre and post war trains (you pay for parts). Meet opens at 10 AM and there are usually people waiting with trains for repair - so be on time or even a little early. A member is also there with extensive knowledge of the electronics of the LTI era trains if you have questions. Since it is an Open House Meet, Mike Marple will have ten tables of parts available. Additionally, there will be 80 to 90 tables of trains for sale, an auction, and food service. SO, get on the 210 going west and exit on Santa Anita Ave. - turn left at bottom of the off ramp - head south about 1.5 miles to Duarte Road - turn right onto Duarte. - Masonic Center is on the left (south) side of the street next to the Arcadia Public Library. There is plenty of free parking. One of the better ways to spend a Sunday. SEE YOU THERE!
for lionel post war that would be Jim weatherford he can be contacted by going to the agtta web site http://www.agtta.com/newslette...ay-2016-Mainline.pdf

jim osborne is good, but I do not believe he works on lionel post war.
Thank you, Surfliner!
I will plan on being there, although my calendar tells me that June 8th is a Wednesday....
Maybe the 5th or the 12th ?
I can't wait. It has been awhile since I've been to a train meet. Thank you for the invite. See you there.
John
Thank you, Bigdodgetrain,
I have a situation where I have some post- war on the fritz, and some LTI big steamers on the fritz.
I am aware of Mr. Weatherford from the other magazine from long ago. Glad to hear his name again for post war.
Does Mr. Osborne work on the modern(LTI) locos?
Thank you,
John
