Western Depot is closed and is evacuating because of flood danger. Just went over to their web site a few minutes ago.

Is Western Depot threatened by the Oroville dam or other flooding due to the winter rains in California?

Good luck guys. My prayers got out for you at the Western Depot and all the folks in the path of that potential catastrophe.
Hope all goes well for the GOOD folks at Western Depot in Yuba City!
Visited that shop a couple of times when business used to take me to Sacramento...l was thinking earlier that l didn't remember a river near it.
Is the California drought over?

No, "Colorado" they turned into a lake and that is what the dam is holding back.
As for the drought "Jini5", I would guess it's over.

EMWD says even though we have had much rain, they will evaluate the drought status at the next board meeting. So technically NO... they are still rippin us off for our water.
The mandatory evacuation has been lifted and people are returning home.
Yuba City (home to Western Depot) is at the confluence of the Yuba River and the Feather River. If there's serious overflow from the Oroville Dam, that goes into the Feather River. Yuba City is low-lying flatlands prone to flooding in such circumstances.
And, for the record, I've had good service from Western Depot. I try to buy in my state, to minimize shipping time and cost, and they're a good source.
