Sooo, I had an old Radio Shack Pro-94 scanner that was sitting in the closet ,( It hadn't worked in awhile), & I had seen putting one of those rubber anntenna's on a Cab-1. No matter how careful are ,the orginal telescoping antenna is prone to bending, or worse breaking.

All it took was dremel toll cutting a U-shaped space on the cab-1 , soldering the anntena wire ,and Viola'

Works like a charm !Reception is 200% better.

( BTW), Hope all had a wonderful Thanksgiving . It was up & down ,here. One minute enjoying the day, & the next crying like a baby.
