What are these things used for?

I don't know what they belong to. Not train related that I know of. Something recent since they are stamped 'LIONEL LLC'.

They are bright plated bars assembled to swivel with plastic rivets, with crossmember pieces. Something like Mega-tracks?

How big/small/short/long are they? Hard to tell in the picture.

The long bars are about 12 inches, the short ones about 4 inches.
