Would have loved to get those Yellow bonnets but the price was just too high for me. Can't wait to see yours though. They should be great.

Atlas re-announced it in September 2012 They recently published a first quarter 2015 shipping date, I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck with that, the latest A-Z shipping schedule shows 1st Q 2015 expected delivery of the RS-1,GP 7 Phase 11 and the Tman GE-8-40CW. One of the newest publications shows an Atlas ad featuring the RS 1 coming[you can read into that anything you want] The Tman RS 3 and the U23B are now listed as TBA. Obiviously serious production problems still remain for Atlas delivery of Diesel models.

Before ordering anything I wait for the Atlas, Lionel and MTH catalogs to all be released and then prioritize my choices.

But right now I'm leaning towards an ABA set of Amtrak.  They would look good pulling a rainbow set of passenger cars.  I've been waiting and hoping for a nice set of Amtrak F units and almost…. almost picked up a Williams set.  But my patience has paid off!

I'll decide after I see what Lionel and MTH has in store.

The first quarter of 2015 is almost finished, and Atlas changed their estimated shipping date to "TBA". I'm starting to get discouraged.

I already put in an order with Steve, for the ABBA configuration of 45LABC, but after reading and listening to input and suggestions from Doug (Laidoffsick), Tom (Number 90), Howard (Marker), and Jack (Hot Water), I am going to switch that order to the ABBA configuration of 37LABC.  3 Powered Units sounds more logical than 2, especially with having the GGD El Cap. on order, and my future plan to do a combined El Cap/ Super Chief. Heck maybe I will add another Powered A from the 45 series, so I can have an A-B-B and an A-A to pull both the El Cap. and Super Chief separately. :-)

Thank you to the members whom have helped contribute their knowledge and insight for those of us, that are buying the ATSF F7's. It is very much appreciated.

This was one of 3 units that went TBA no doubt to clear the production schedule for the much anticipated F7s ,many more reservations and more to come if Atlas shows satisfactory samples at York.Just my assesment of the situation.

I'll look forward to seeing them at York.  Hoping they do have samples of the Milwaukee Road version.  Then, I'll see what kind of a price I can get for an A-B-B-A, 2units powered, 2 dummy set from one or more dealers.  Methinks it's still gonna be somewhere north of $1200.

And, across the way is Lionel's new 2-8-2 USRA Heavy in Milwaukee Road, also pulling at my purse strings.  Geez!  I know that I can't do bothl  BUT, maybe one or t'other?

Paul Fischer

We have orders for over 140 units so far with our advertised price of $419.96 for powered with an additional discount for cash or check. I can't as I sit here remember what the price was for dummies.

We added the two rail model numbers on the website.

Our orders are due to Atlas on April 8th.

Santa Fe has been the most popular so far.

Thanks to to all that ordered from us. Still time to get your order in. No deposit is required.
