What Board and Battery Do I Have? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

My Norfolk&Western Y6b was upgraded to Proto-2 by Timkos when I bought it used a few years ago. My layout was too small to run this locomotive. I would like to know what battery voltage this is and can I install a BCR before it's listed for sale on the OGR Sale/Trade Forum? I have only started it up on my test track to determine the Readings: ODOM 1.5, Chrono: :40, Trip: 0.

PS2 3v uses the 2.4v BCR. The green 2.4v batteries from MTH rarely hold a charge. If you want to stick with a battery, I use a cordless phone battery and splice on the correct connector.
