Had a frustrating afternoon too.
I powered up the layout to run my new LIRR 0-4-0. I was going to swap some cars and what better engine to put to work. First was to move a couple of cabeese to a different siding. As I backed the engine over one of my 042's, the rear driver jumped the track at the frog. After holding my breath due to the fireworks, I reset the breaker and gave it a second try. The frog was out of alignment and was causing the wheel flange to jump the rail. I gave the frog a few taps with a screwdriver and hammer and got it back into position.
Then backing into the siding, the engine stalled and the breaker tripped again.......![mad](https://ogrforum.com/static/images/graemlins/icon_mad.gif)
Found the cause there too but I'll deal with it tomorrow. I need to insulate a bit of the center rail. The rollers are hitting both center and outer rail.
Finally got everything settled and discovered that the switch on the back end of the yard lead isn't working properly........
I turned off the power and went upstairs......![:p](https://ogrforum.com/static/images/graemlins/icon_razz.gif)
It's times like this that I want to tear the layout down and start over.......![cool](https://ogrforum.com/static/images/graemlins/icon_cool.gif)
