Every day on my way to and from work, I pass over NS and CSX tracks (opposite sides of river). For the past couple days I've been seeing a lone CSX engine with two, with what look to be blue passenger cars sitting on tracks below. Sometimes they are not there, sometimes they are, but in a different location. It looks like the end car has a wall of tinted glass on the back with two red (classification?) lights.
I assume they are some type of inspection cars, but what in the world are they? I can try to get a picture, but I doubt it'd turn out.
