What is so special about this Santa Fe railking hopper and most other railking hoppers?

I bought this new in box railking Santa Fe hopper from an individual. I bought it because He only wanted full retail 34.95. I always see these hoppers on Ebay for over 100.00. It seems most railking hoppers are priced at well over 100.00. What makes these so special? Low production #'s? Gouging by sellers? (likely). The seller emailed me and wants to know if I want 6 more of these new in box for 35.00 each. I am seriously thinking I am going to go for it. I think a string of 7 of these will be nice looking.
