What is the correct way to replace a side mirror on my Genset Switcher?

I have the replacement mirror from MTH, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this.

My initial thought is that I need to pull out one of the pins that hold the mirror in place, put the mirror in on an angle, and slowly push the pin back in to secure the mirror in place.

Does that sound correct?

Yes unless you think mirror can bend sufficiently in the middle and not snap. G
