What is the difference between Lionel Premium Smoke Fluid (6-37841) and Lionel Smoke Fluid (6-62909)? Thank you.

The premium is the old Train America Studio mixture. That is all I will use in my newer Legacy units. Personal preference.
Nothing, they both smell like burnt pinesol. Will use only Jebs Mega steam . Love the hot chocolate and cinimon roll flavored smoke.
There is a difference. The premium puts out a much better volume of smoke that dissipates fairly quickly. The older stuff not so much. They are unscented for the most part.
The Premium fluid does not contain a water base. The water base allows the fluid to conduct from the element windings to the smoke bowls. Such conduction will interfere with good smoke generation, the premium fluid should be used in all Legacy locos.
