I have 2 pre war trucks that I want a roller pick up on but I'm not sure what I need from Hennings parts selection? Thank you.

Chris, I would look for original roller pick up trucks from junk cars....they are plentiful, around here anyway.

Ya Rob. I have no problem replacing the trucks I just have to find some.
Do you need the trucks to have couplers or sliding shoes too? Do you need this for functionality or collectible accuracy? if for functionality, you can use the 482-3 baseplate w/ roller assembly which wraps around the axles. The wheelbase is very close to but not exactly the same as the postwar trucks, I've seen this done successfully.
Looks like you would want a TS-21 roller pickup assembly.
it's fiber board will rivet to the crossbar on your trucks. Not sure how well you can see on my picture below, but I think they have the roller pick up you are looking for. If the pdf shows up, it shows the parts listing for the pickup as well.

This will work. I found one on a 300 series standard gauge truck I dug up. Just need one more. This is for a custom O gauge work caboose I'm working on. I want it to have a roof light and an interior light. Thanks for the help guys.
Just found the one I'm looking for at Hennings. Out of stock!
You could always do what I found on an Ives 70 series coach, and use an eraser and a Marx pickup attached to the axle
For each truck you will need the following. (Truck must have the cross bar support or you can order new ones as they must be removed to install the insulator.)
I've converted several of these trucks while restoring 265W tenders. Jeff Kane has the parts if you explain what your trying to do.
2X 61-14 Eyelet
1X 418T-31 Insulator'
1X 418T-30 Spring
1X 418T-38 Roller Bracket
1X 418T-39 Roller
Tin
Olsens toy train parts has the above in posters parts list if you cannot get from hennings.
Although buying the parts seperate for total 6.80 minus shipping more expensive, or maybe call hennings and see when they might restock that 4.50 part.
