That's a pretty sad statement. I can think of a whole lot worse things than trains, and all of us know what they are.........
If they get so upset over such an innocent hobby, then yes, maybe not worth keeping.
Usually a sign of an underlying issue...whether they're aware of it or not.
I've had several girl friends who balked about the trains - guess what - they never made it to "wife status"! In retrospect - some,of the trains are just as " well built" and pretty as they were. Would have missed the trains more than them.
